Happy Days 2021
Dog Show, Expo, Parade and Food Vendor applications launch April 15!
We know what you're thinking - is there going to be a festival this year? The answer? You bet! We are approaching the planning process this year with cautious optimism. We are closely monitoring recommendations from the CDC and the Minnesota Department of Health and are hopeful that, by the fall, the majority of the population will be vaccinated and we are able to once again host our Happy Days Festival. Mark your calendars, folks! This year, the festival will be Saturday, September 11. Let's celebrate and put 2020 (and the coronavirus) behind us! This page will be updated as more information becomes available.
About the Festival
Happy Days is the City of Ramsey’s annual hometown festival. This popular event takes place in early September and is located within The COR (North of Highway 10 near the Ramsey Municipal Center). The Ramsey Happy Days Festival hosts a large array of family-friendly activities and events during the day. When the sun goes down, live music and an impressive fireworks show takeover. Most events are free thanks to the contributions of our generous sponsors. View a video (MPG) from the 2017 event.
GB Leighton was originally selected as the 2020 performer but, because of the coronavirus, we weren't able to enjoy their music last year. The City of Ramsey and the Happy Days Committee are thrilled to welcome GB Leighton to the Main Stage for the 2021 Happy Days Festival!
GB Leighton is a band named after live performer and talented songwriter, Brian Leighton. For more than two decades, Leighton and his five-piece band have been tearing up rock clubs, festivals and fan living rooms with a slew of songs that touch the heart and move fans to the dance floor.
GB Leighton has 10 studio releases, 4 live albums and has sold over 70,000 albums. The band is currently recording a new studio album.

The Happy Days Festival would not be what it is today without the help of our loyal sponsors! The festival is primarily funded through business sponsorships, but you don't have to be a business owner to show your support! For as little as $50, you can have your name, a family name or an in-remembrance memorial name printed on all Happy Days materials. Individuals, families and businesses can make a general donation or choose which event you'd like to sponsor.
