  1. The Draw Summer Event Series

    July 19, 2018, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM @ The Draw Amphitheater

    The Draw Summer Event Series takes place every Thursday night from June 14 to August 23. Performances at this community gathering feature concert style music in a variety of genres from Roadhouse Blue, to The Holy Rocka Rollaz, to the last rain-or-shine event with GB Leighton. Several events also feature free product giveaways from local companies.

  2. Learn to Kayak with Wahoo! Adventures

    July 21, 2018, 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM @ Sunfish Lake Park Shelter

    Get outdoors, learn something new, and experience your parks! Join Wahoo! Adventures to kick off summer with a paddle around Sunfish Lake. From learning how to paddle and safely getting in and out of a kayak, to packing for a day on the water, you will learn how to have a relaxing day on the lake. Snacks and water will be provided after class. You will also learn how to use the free canoe and kayak rental system provided by the City of Ramsey.

  4. Summer Recycling Day Event

    July 28, 2018, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Public Works Utilities Building

    The Summer Recycling Day Event provides residents an opportunity to properly dispose of a number of items not typically accepted through the curbside recycling program. Appliances, electronics, tires, fluorescent bulbs, batteries, used motor oil, oil filters, antifreeze, textiles, mattresses/boxsprings, scrap metal are all accepted. There are fees for certain materials. Please see the Summer Recycling Day Event flyer for pricing details. Also, residents can have up to three (3) boxes (dimensions no greater than 12 inches by 12 inches by 24 inches) of documents shredded at our recycling event (there is no charge for this service!).

    Come join us for some fun in the park on July 19th. There will be live music, a bounce house, face painting, and some bean-bag toss boards, so you can challenge your friends or family to a game. Event takes place during our concert series. Watch Darlene and The Boys perform. Bounce House: 6:00pm– 8:00pm Face Painting: 6:30pm-7:30pm Bean-bag boards will be out from 6:00pm-8:00pm

    Come & Learn About the Earth’s Pollinators & Tour Beautiful Gardens! Are you interested in seeing living examples of pollinator friendly gardens/landscapes? Property owners in both Ramsey and Andover have agreed to participate in a Pollinator Garden Tour to provide interested individuals an opportunity to see first-hand their landscape creations. The property owner and/or a Master Gardener will be on site during the self-guided tour to answer questions about the landscape.

Barbara will guide a Vinyasa style of yoga that focuses on breath and movement. All levels welcome, as modifications will be offered. Ms. Sandarin is certified in several forms of yoga and is registered with the Yoga Alliance. She has been practicing and teaching many forms of yoga for well over 15 years. Barbara loves sharing this unique form of mind/body fitness with students of all ages and abilities. Registration is requested.

  8. Canoe RAVE @ Mississippi West

    July 28, 2018, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Mississippi West Park

    River Action Volunteer Event (RAVE) Join the Mississippi Park Connection for service and fun! All trips pair a restoration project with an adventure tour by National Park Service rangers. For this RAVE, we will offer tours of canoe-access campsites on islands near Mississippi West Regional Park. Participants will also help remove invasive plant species that threaten the native plant ecosystems. This fun project is great for adults and kids over 12 years old. No canoeing experience needed. What To Bring: A full water bottle for drinking; Sunscreen, sunglasses, sweatshirts and tick/mosquito repellent; Long pants and sturdy, close toed shoes; Appropriate clothing to get wet and/or muddy The RAVE will happen rain or shine.
