Spend the morning walking on the newly restored Bluebird Bird Trail with Blue Bird Recovery Project Coordinator, Carlyn Erion. This educational excursion will provide an understanding of bluebirds and the impact they have right in our own backyards. Bring your questions as we walk and observe this habitat together.
This walk will cover approximately 1 mile on a paved trail at Rivers’ Bend Park. Please dress for spring rain or sunshine. This event is intended for a teenage and above audience. Attending Bluebird Basics is recommended if you would like to attend the Bluebird Nesting and Monitoring Essentials, or get involved in the Bluebird Recovery Program.
About Ramsey’s Bluebird Trail The Bluebird Trail in Ramsey was first installed over a decade ago. Overtime, the habitat has changed and the birdhouses have weathered. In 2020, David and Micky Mekosch built and installed the new bluebird nesting boxes and have plans to expand into additional Ramsey parks.
