All dogs over six months old must be licensed within Ramsey. Licenses are available at the Ramsey Police Department during business hours. Licenses are valid for three years or until the due date of the next rabies vaccination, whichever comes first. Proof of a rabies vaccination must be presented to collect the license. License fees are $20 for all dogs, unless they are spayed or neutered, which drops the fee to $10. The City allows three dogs per household, and all dogs must be leashed when off the owner's premises. Additionally, all dog excrement must be removed immediately and disposed of in the proper receptacle.
There is No Parking on streets within the City of Ramsey from 2:00am to 6:00am twelve months of the year.
